Interesting to think about
I am a member of a WoW forum called the Gooch(yes I know what it means) and yesterday one of the members posted this film site and synopsis.
Jesus Christ (Son of God and father of modern stand-up) returns
to earth for His long-awaited comeback tour. He doesn't get past
U.S. immigration: He's a bearded, Middle-Eastern guy, prepared
to die as a religious martyr. He is immediately detained under
the Patriot Act.

It is an Irish indie film that was shown at the Edinburgh Film Festival in 2006.
I was thinking about the film's premise and it is true. If Jesus were to be around today he would have been branded a fanatic and if not already be incarcerated, he'd definitely be on every one's watch list.
In fact if you think about it all of the "heroes" of the American revolution are considered Traitors by the British. We consider Crockett, Bowie and the "heroes" of the Alamo to be men to look up to but in Mexico they are usurpers and just down right criminals. It is your cultural and social view that colors whether an activist is a "hero", a nutcase Or a criminal.
If just those few statements don't make you think about how we should really be treating the rest of the world then think about this. When we finally end this so-called war in the Middle East
What will we have lost as a nation and a people? Will this war still be going on when the boys who are 10 now be sent when they are 18 to die. What are they dieing for?
When North Vietnam took over Saigon and Vietnam was united yes there was bloodshed and hard feelings between both sides, just like between North Korea and South Korea ,still, and the North and South of the United States. Will our intervention cause their differences to go away any faster? No, all we are doing is the same thing that happens when a parents favors one child over the other in a dispute, hard feelings against the intervening are carried and erupt later. We are making ourselves enemies that have long memories.
I really don't know where I was going with this just that the way we keep trying to be big Daddy to the world is wrong. Choosing a side and favoring them does not fix the problem and I think that after all these years that humans have been on the earth we should have figured that out by now.
I have a quote on my 360 site that sums this up.
"Nobody knows the age of the human race but everyone agrees ,it should know better." anonymous
